INNOVATING TO DRIVE
PERFORMANCE
Spie batignolles has put
in place an ambitious innovation strategy
to integrate the changes emerging in technology
and society, as well as meet its clients’ expectations regarding new uses
and performance.
A programme built around three objectives
Spie batignolles pursues an Innovation programme that is designed to transform its business and activities for the long-term future by identifying performance solutions to effectively respond to the changing expectations of its clients and the new demands of society.
The Innovation programme pursues three objectives to achieve operational excellence:
Market excellence, placing the new uses of our structures at the heart of project design. It is brought to life by pooling our full range of expertise, adding new business activities and developing complementary services to meet emerging needs – such as the energy transition, new forms of mobility, connected and scalable buildings and landscaping – as part of a comprehensive, innovative and evolving offer.
Business excellence or the ability of Spie batignolles to maintain its leadership position across all its sectors, in particular through its consolidated centres of expertise. The Group harnesses innovation to boost the performance of built structures and the quality of constructions as well as reduce costs and timescales by digitising business activities, integrating new tools, materials and building techniques in addition to introducing new project management techniques such as lean management.
Organisational excellence, which allows Spie batignolles to move towards greater cross-business cooperation and collaboration, both within the Group, namely by fostering communities of experts, and beyond, by putting in place an extended network of innovative start-ups, research labs, schools and industries.
A RANGE OF USES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE TOGETHER
The “Spie batignolles house” is a shared space championing creativity, innovation and transformation for
the Group. Opened in September 2019, it combines co-working spaces, meeting rooms and an auditorium. The house acts as a lab to trial new ways of working, share best practice throughout the Group and provide
a place for clients and partners to develop projects together in real time.
