It is through close and constructive dialogue with employee representatives that Spie batignolles makes progress each day and builds its future hand in hand with its employees, supported by agreements that boost employee well-being as well as economic growth for the Group. This dialogue, which is held with those working close to the field, is supervised by the Group Works Council – a body that represents all the various entities and ensures regular communication between executives, members of the Works Council and employee representatives to discuss the Group’s strategy and other matters related to the HR policy.
Supporting all career paths
Renowned for the expertise, know-how and professionalism of its teams, Spie batignolles supports the individual careers of each and every one of its employees. The Group constantly anticipates changes in its sectors and business activities and provides continuous training to develop employee skills and ensure the Group continues to possess the key capabilities it requires. Training paths were rolled out in 2018, including special modules for activity-specific and Group-wide topics (such as management, languages, digital technology, BIM, safety and the environment). Everyone has the ability to take charge of their own professional future and build their career, in line with the needs of the company, by choosing the modules that best suit their position and professional aspirations.
A SPRINGBOARD TO THE FUTURE
The Spie batignolles Campus is the Group’s in-house training institution.
It provides tailored educational programmes that support the
strategy, fundamentals and values
of Spie batignolles and meet the expectations of the market. The Campus is deployed through a number of e-learning modules as well as a network of 50 in-house trainers who operate out of training branches set up throughout France, close to Group sites.
In 2019, 10 new training courses
were rolled out, including a session
to introduce all employees to BIM.
The Campus continued to become increasingly digital to provide greater flexibility to employees by minimising the need to travel.
